2007 Cafritz Award

America the Beautiful Fund Board Member, Sandra Farber was honored with the Morris & Gwendolyn Cafritz Foundation Award for Distinguished Public Service at a reception and ceremony at George Washington University on January 18, 2007 in Washington, DC. She was praised for her outstanding achievements with the Master Gardening program and instituting a Junior Master Gardening Program, a volunteer effort to identify Sudden Oak death threatening the city’s trees, and her service on the America the Beautiful Board.
